Tablo is a true enterprise solution that can be used from the ICU to the clinic to the home. Treatments must be administered under physician’s prescription and observed by a trained individual who is considered competent in the use of the device. Treatment types available include: Intermittent Hemodialysis (IHD), Sustained Low Efficiency Dialysis (SLED/SLEDD), Prolonged Intermittent Renal Replacement Therapy (PIRRT) and Isolated Ultrafiltration. This device is not indicated for continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and is cleared for use for up to 24 hours. The dialysate generated by this device is not sterile and should not be used for intravenous (IV) infusion.

For clinicians, training on Tablo is typically quicker and easier than traditional dialysis machines. Most nurses can be trained on Tablo in under 4 hours. Outset also offers services to support specific knowledge areas, like vascular access and the basics of dialysis care.
Patients and care partners are typically able to learn all device-related activities to start using Tablo at home in less than 4 training sessions, or about 2 weeks. During the training, the patient and care partner will learn how to operate the Tablo system, monitor vital signs, administer medication, master aseptic technique, perform machine maintenance and troubleshoot emergency situations. The clinic will conduct training, and determine when a patient is ready to start treating at home. -
Our team has the expertise, commitment and hands-on experience to make it easy for you to integrate Tablo into your dialysis program or home. TabloHub and MyTablo are online portals where customers and patients can access the data generated by their Tablo systems including treatment flow sheets and training materials. On-demand access to data and information reduces delays in acquiring reports and training material, improving efficiencies.

The Tablo machine’s all-in-one design, easy to learn and use touchscreen interface, and smart sensors allow it to:
- Save you space and time. Tablo quickly purifies water and produces dialysis on-demand, removing the need for premixed batches of dialysate or bags of purified water to run treatments.
- Allows you to personalize your dialysis schedule.
- Keep your same 3x per week dialysis schedule or dialyze more frequently
- Get set up quickly – it takes less than 20 minutes to set up and start treatment
- Alert you when something needs your attention, and allows you to resolve alarms quickly. For example, Tablo can sense when there is air in the tubing or when your blood pressure is not within your normal range – and help you resolve the issue. Most patients can resolve alarms in less than 5 seconds.
- Keep track of your treatment data for you and wirelessly transfer your treatment records to your healthcare provider.
-
You no longer need to lug your dialysis machine with you! A USB key contains all your treatment data so that you can make arrangements with a dialysis provider to receive in-center dialysis while you travel.
