For dialysis nurses and technicians, training on Tablo is very quick and easy relative to traditional dialysis machines. Nurses of any specialty can be trained on Tablo in under 4 hours.
For self-care, Outset will establish a detailed training program for both your nursing staff and patients. During the training, your patients and their care partner will learn how to operate the Tablo system, monitor their vital signs, administer medication, sterile technique and machine maintenance, and troubleshoot any emergency situations. In our clinical trial, patients were trained to perform all device-related aspects of self-care in less than 4 sessions.1

Our team has the expertise, commitment, and hands-on experience to make it easy for you to integrate Tablo into your program or fully make the switch.
After the initial consultation, where we meet with you to assess your existing capabilities and training goals, you’ll be given an individualized plan and support team. The team may include Field Service Engineers, Clinical Field Specialists, and STAR Team clinicians. Our STAR Team is made up of former dialysis nurses and nurse managers who are trained in Tablo program analysis and implementation.
Although Tablo is easy to learn and use, we are committed to working with you as an integral part of your team, and closely supporting the success of your new program. We’ll be on hand daily throughout training, regularly on an ongoing basis, as needed for any technical assistance, and as scheduled for quarterly performance evaluations. Our customer support team is available around the clock at 1-844-MY-TABLO.

You’ll get to know Tablo with all the support you need from your clinical team. You’ll have guided training on Tablo by the home dialysis nurse at your clinic. In just a few days, you will be trained to dialyze at home with help from a family member or friend.

The Tablo machine’s all-in-one design, easy to learn and use touchscreen interface, and smart sensors allow it to:
- Save you space and time. Tablo quickly purifies water and produces dialysis on-demand, removing the need for premixed batches of dialysate or bags of purified water to run treatments.
- Allows you to personalize your dialysis schedule.
- Keep your same 3x per week dialysis schedule or dialyze more frequently
- Get set up quickly – it takes less than 20 minutes to set up and start treatment
- Alert you when something needs your attention, and allows you to resolve alarms quickly. For example, Tablo can sense when there is air in the tubing or when your blood pressure is not within your normal range – and help you resolve the issue. Most patients can resolve alarms in less than 5 seconds.
- Keep track of your treatment data for you and wirelessly transfer your treatment records to your healthcare provider.
-
You no longer need to lug your dialysis machine with you! A USB key contains all your treatment data so that you can make arrangements with a dialysis provider to receive in-center dialysis while you travel.

TabloCart with Prefiltration is a solution for customers with harsh incoming water that does not meet the specifications for the Tablo Hemodialysis System’s integrated filtration.
Specifically, incoming water that exceeds Sediment >5 SDI, Chlorine >2ppm, and/or Chloramine >1ppm may require prefiltration.
-
Yes. TabloCart is an optional accessory for the Tablo Hemodialysis System. Tablo operates fully and can successfully deliver dialysis treatments without TabloCart. Customers with harsh incoming water may experience a higher frequency of integrated filter changes on Tablo without TabloCart.
